Enjoy this wonderfully delicious side dish that will add to any meal. Flavors of nutmeg and cinnamon will make your sweet potatoes burst with flavor. Top with Marshmallows for added sweetness.
Additional Ingredients: 4-6 lg sweet potatoes (or 2 LARGE cans of sweet potatoes - mash well), 2 1/2 sticks salted butter, 1/2 bag mini marshmallows, pecans (optional)
DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 375. Boil/peel sweet potatoes and mash until creamy - add 1 stick of melted butter plus Base mixture and blend well. Lay in a casserole pan (9"x13").
Topping: In a bowl, melt 1 1/2 Stick butter, add the topping packet - blend well and place on top of the base mixture. Bake for 30 - 45 minutes and remove from oven - add marshmallows on top and allow to sit for 10 - 15 minutes before serving.
