This Fiesta Skillet will please everyone in the family. Super easy to put together and quick to make.
We tested it by using tomatoes with peppers in them and it was nice and spicy; however, it can be made with regular diced tomatoes as well for less heat.
The mix comes is a great base that you can add your favorites like beef or chicken, corn, black beans, cheese, cilantro, etc.
Additional Ingredients: 1 can Diced Tomatoes or Tomatoes with Green Chiles, 2 cups water, 1 pound ground beef, (Optional) - 1 cup frozen corn, 1 cup Mexican blend cheese, Chopped Cilantro, optional for garnish
Instructions Brown meat, Drain, if necessary and return back to pan, Stir in water, Seasoning Packet and tomatoes, bring to boil, cover and simmer on medium-low heat for 10 minutes, Add frozen corn and continue cooking for 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally Remove from heat and sprinkle with cheese, cover and let stand for 2 minutes until cheese is melted, Sprinkle with cilantro.
