Enjoy this wonderful bar made with apples, caramel, oatmeal, and spices.  Make as thick or thin as you desire

Additional Ingredients: Caramel Sauce Crust: 1 C Butter, 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Filling: 2 Large Apples, peeled and thinly sliced  Streusel: 1/2 C Unsalted Butter, Cold and Cubed 

Directions: Preheat oven to 300 deg. Line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper (overhanging the sides).  Make the crust by pouring the dry crust mix in a bowl, stir in the melted butter and vanilla and stir until combined. Press mixture into baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove the crust and turn the oven up to 350 de.  Make the filling Combined he sliced apples with the dry filling mix. Set aside. Make the streusel: Add the dry mix to a bowl, cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.  Layer the apple mixture evenly over the warm crust, sprinkle the streusel over the top of the apples and bake for 30 - 35 minutes, remove from oven and allow to cool 20 minutes, then place in fridge for at least 2 hours. Lift the parchment out of the pan and cut into bars, drizzle caramel sauce on top of each. Serve warm or cold
