Never thought you could make your own scones?  Don’t worry, they are much easier than you think and the trick is to use “frozen” butter to make them light and don’t over bake them and they will never be dry.  Makes six.

Instructions: Blend dry mix with 1 1/2 Cold Sticks Butter (6 oz) until consistency of a fine meal grain.  Add 3/4 C Heavy Cream and mix until combined. Turn out onto a lightly floured work surface and gently knead. Roll or pat dough into a circle about 3/4" thick and create triangle shape or use a biscuit cutter.  Place on baking sheet, brush with cream and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 - 22 minutes or until slightly golden brown.

Ingredients: Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, Dried Fruit or Chocolate Chips, Lemon Peel or Orange Peel
